It's clear what kind of livestock is mainly kept. One for Signs2 here.

Londonderry
Yes there is still a weapon to go with it though it is broken in half, looks like the troubles are still not completely over in spite of the butterfly. One for Sami's Colourful World here.

Painted facades
In the town of Tralee in the southwest of Ireland, this is truly elevated to an art. So nice to see. Some photos from a holiday in 2014. (Header Dam square in the evening)

From the bus window in Londonderry
Northern Ireland is really littered with murals that actually all convey some sort of political message about the contrasts between Ireland and Northern Ireland. Seen on vacation in 2014. One for Sami's Colourful World here.

A not so colorful world
Unlike in the old days when every mural contained a protest against everything and everyone has changed except for Northern Ireland. There it is still restless and you can see that even though this picture is from a holiday. (Londonderry 2014). One for Sami's Colourful World here.

Observations in Ireland
Sheep you found literally everywhere.
Dogs not so much.
Or they are from this variety.
But as this tattoo says "Journey of my life begins with one single step"that counts also for photography.

Colorful cities
The Irish cities have especially adapted colors for the normal a bit grey weather conditions.
As you can see here in Kenmare.
You don't find this kind of coloring in the rest of Europe I think. (Perhaps in some Scandinavian countries but I am not sure)

Some more shots of Galway
Yes music in every street and alley.
And not bad at all ( These guys played jazz and no traditional irish music. Very appreciated by the public)
Looks like a new form of house support.
A 3D artist at work.
The result.
And if you are a bit tired from strolling around grass enough for a lazy afternoon.

Sightseeing
Of course as a tourist you may not mis the cliffs of Moher, one of the most interesting parts of the Irish west coast.
On the way along the cliffs we encountered this lady Tina Mulrooney , playing the harp and singing with a remarkable clear voice Memories of Ireland. It was worth to listen too. I must admit that later on I bought a cd from her as a reminder of our trip here.
Of course there are always people who didn't saw the sign above.

Where words come from
Here the river Corrib going through Galway on its way to the Atlantic Ocean.
Despite Galway is a very lively and fun city partly due to the presence of a university, it is also the source of the word lynching. In 1493 the son of the mayor committed a murder in front of a lot of witnesses. No one dared to condemn him except his father FitzStephen Lynch. He threw his son James from the window above with a rope around his neck, hence the word lynching. This memorial on the wall was installed in 1854. One for shadow sunday shot here.

Hotel lobby
If the lobby of your hotel gives such an opportunity you can't pass it as here in the Harlequin hotel in Castlebar Ireland.
Another lobby shot.
Selfie with Bieb at the second floor at the end of the staircase. If you are tired from the stairs you could take place here before going to your room or of course take the elevator from ground to two. One for weekend reflections here.
