There are various ways to earn a living, and seagulls know them all.

 Are we being watched by a pigeon that has seemingly nested in our twisty hazel.

Praying kestrel

Strange relations

 I knew that cormorants sailed with a boat but herons that is the first time for me. Seen the day before yesterday in the "Nieuwe Keizersgracht". (PS Header is a slipway in the harbor of Urk)

In the zoo

Even though they don't belong here in Artis at all, these cormorants try to get a piece of the pie by feeding the pelicans in the zoo. Just like the herons the zoo would rather get rid of them but protected species etc. and the cheeky ones have half the world. One for Saturday Critters here.

Common duck

So slowly, all the waterfowl of Flevoland are on the walls of an apartment building along the Weerwater. One for Sami's Coulourful World here.

Here in the city canal of Almere-Haven. Surely this is proof of how polluted the water is with, among other things, plastic. One for Signs2 here.
