Saturday Critters

 Been a while but then neighbors of ours got these cute kittens. One for Saturday Critters here.

The Cats Cabinet

 Upon entering this canal house (Herengracht 497), you immediately see that everything here is devoted to the cat.

The Cat Cabinet was founded in commemoration of the ginger cat John Pierpont Morgan (1966-1983) . This special cat was the stubborn, headstrong companion of the museum's founder, Bob Meijer. 

There are also real cats living in the museum and they immediately keep it mouse and rat free where the canal houses can be quite a nuisance as I know from personal experience.

I also really like these pillows on the couch and that cat ball on the left also contains 4 little ones pressed against her by mom's front paws. For cat lovers, this really comes highly recommended.

Sunday Peace

 Yes Sofie knows how to get through her days. (Ps the header is the view across the Kattenburger canal towards the Gooyer mill).

One takes a red and blue cellophane

Red for the left eye and blue for the right eye. And then even Sofietje in 3D. Found an old program name Anaglyph Workshop and with 2 hand-held cameras took a left and right picture simultaneously without tripod or anything at the guess. I like the result. Will take a more serious look at it. One for Signs2 here.

 

Bibi on a special diet

 Bibi is a cat in our local Cat Cafe. (I realize that in dutch this is impossible).

Sofie yesterday back from her annual shot against the sneeze in the safe hands of Bieb. Yes we are not the only ones who get a shot from time to time.

Announcement

 Announcement for a cat trim salon in our village. The photographed cat is a good representation of how cats think about this. Off with it and I can't imagine how you can make a living at this but you never know. Sofie would not want to go there even by force. One for Signs2 here.

 The sign of a mousefree bakery in the "Jordaan" Amsterdam. In that part of town an essential  condition. One for Signs 2 here.

Cat cafe

Didn't know we have one in Almere

 In total there are 16 cats

which are generally very friendly and sometimes also very playful

Probably nothing for a dog lover but they have delicious homemade cake and ditto coffee. One for Saturday Critters here.
