Some more impressions from last Sunday

 

Must admit that I have succumbed to temptation several times in the past but not this time. At some point it really stops but I am still happy with my Zenza Bronica S2 with 5 nikkor lenses including a nice wide angle . Just picked it off a table somewhere in the past.

Our semi-annual photographics fair today.

I tried to sell a nikon d600 with a 24-120 nikkor but unfortunately no one had my asking price of 500 euros for it. Next time better. (Header former headquarters Unilever in Rotterdam.)

Progress in 4/3 camera's

 Above the Olympus E-3 from 2007 and under the GM1 from 2013 both with a 35-100 mm. Difference beside 2,3 kg that the second one got the M from micro for its name. Results at f5,6 nearly identical. You don't have to guess what I take with me for street photography. Shot with an Olympus E-M1 also from 2013. One for Tom's Signs2 here.

Past time

 

Stores with this kind of stuff are now almost a thing of the past. Where there used to be more than a hundred in Amsterdam you should be happy if you can find one now. By the way, just read at The Visual Science Lab that DPreview world's largest camera reviewer is quitting April 10. Now if that's not a sign of things to come then I don't know what is. One for Signs2 here.

It was yesterday once again

 The great photographica spring fair.

That camera you always wanted but could never afford

is suddenly within easy reach.

And since it is Monday, also one for Sami's Colourful World as a kind of colour composition.

It was pleasantly busy again today

 At the Photographica fair in Hilversum

Fortunately, there were not only gray heads.

but of course also old acquaintances.

All in all, search and search until you find what you are still missing. Must say in my case very little.

Maybe these Delft blue tiles with a camera on them. Who knows.

For lack of inspiration

 But once again acquired a new used toy. A fuji X-T2. Understood that this saved me about 45 kilos of co².

 Rather anonymous and then a mouth mask is a great help.

Although as a practice camera for vickers shooters, this vickers may not be so suitable today.

Early this morning

 On the way to the doctor for an annual checkup

Thought I'd give my newest second hand acquisition (sony A7) a try. Must say it is not disappointing for a camera that does not weigh more and is the same size as my much used olympus e-m1 but full frame.

Sunday rest

Yesterday I took a veteran with me. A nikon d700 with, according to many, one of the worst lenses ever of nikon.The 24-120 zoom. Well, that's not so bad, although nature helps out a bit as well.

Almost full moon

Was just closing the outside door at 0:05 a.m. when I saw the bright light of the moon and went back inside to grab a camera. Its 1/2 a second out of hand so not really sharp . (Camera Sony Nex 7 from 2012 just grabbed to see if it still works after a year of inactivity) but I like the result.
