When the sun shines

 The light in the city is really fantastic as here on the Zeedijk.

Painters light

Now that we're even more at home than usual, we take a walk through the area every day.

And then you can see where all those painters got their inspiration from. It's a bit of a walk between the showers. This post is for Our World Tuesday here.

A little miracle.

For one minute this morning the valley on the postcard was bathed in glorious sunlight by a little sunbeam from the kitchen window.

A glorious day

It was such nice weather tuesday that we decided to go to the zoo and indeed what a difference with a bit of sun.

Never heard of a brush boar but who cares with this splendid sight.

After the rain we get sunshine.

Celebration of the birth of the "Stijl" movement 100 years ago.

In Amersfoort where P. Mondriaan (one of the founders of the Stijl) was born they hit it big.

Even the french fries seller with the name of 'n other big painter ( who had nothing to do with the Stijl) participate.

Entrance of the underground

It has something of entering the underworld. Those entrances of the Metro near Central Station Amsterdam. Lacking a roof above the escalators the light can make a real dramatic entrance. One for Shadow Shot Sunday here.
