Sunday rest
Yesterday I took a veteran with me. A nikon d700 with, according to many, one of the worst lenses ever of nikon.The 24-120 zoom. Well, that's not so bad, although nature helps out a bit as well.

Architecture experiments in Almere
There is a lot experimented with architecture as here in the rainbow area of almere. Every part has its own color and the architects has also studied the former "siedlungen" of germany from the twenties like "Onkel Toms Hutte " and Bruno Taut's "Huffeisen siedlung". Must say that the area has indeed that atmosphere. On the background some dutch mountains. One for Skywatch Friday here.

Looking up remains fun
On the Blue bridge Amsterdam. The name blue bridge comes from the nickname of the old bridges that were here before 1883, they had blue railings.

Reaching our destination

A sky full of noise.
While the elms along the canals are already full of elm seeds you'll also find even stranger boarders. Here one of the approximately 10 000 parakeets which currently live in Amsterdam and they continue to expand. One for Skywatch Friday here.

Sky above Amsterdam
Here the Groenburgwal going into the Amstel river. Nice from winter is that by missing the tree leaves you have a better view of the houses along the canals. One for Skywatch Friday here .
