Wow, contributing to global warming with all that carbon pollution. It is a sad sight. We all need to switch to more carbon neutral fuels. Not sure that is likely or even possible.
I remember seeing smokestacks and refineries all the time when I was a kid but I barely see any these days. Here in California the air quality is much better today than it was before the 1990's. Has air pollution gone down in Europe over the last 40 or 50 years?
And we only have the one planet.
