In memoriam

After 16 years, our little Sofie passed away last night at the age of exactly 17. She never scratched or used her claws. She was truly a sweetheart and will be sorely missed.

The Moon ?

 Well, it was really strange to see the moon there the day before yesterday.  But upon closer inspection, it turned out to be a reflection of the hallway light in the double-paned glass of the garden window. Here’s one for Skywatch Friday.

Winter is over

 Last week

Yesterday so just one week of a bit winter. In my memory it was a lot longer but I'm not sorry about it. The days when I used to skate are long gone.

After five years without snow, we finally had some snowfall this weekend. Well, the whole country has come to a standstill. Only the mailman still came by. No trains, no buses, and no planes. Maybe things will get going again this afternoon. Header: We are another year older, and you can see that on the streets.

 Now that going outside is becoming more difficult, I have to look for topics closer to home, and what could be better than the daily household chores carried out here by Biebkriebels.
