Yes there is still a weapon to go with it though it is broken in half, looks like the troubles are still not completely over in spite of the butterfly. One for Sami's Colourful World here.
Fantastic and huge mural. I was recently watching a program about Northern Ireland (can't remember the city) and they had lots of murals, mostly to do with the conflict. Thanks for participating in Monday Murals SC.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenSo interesting!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenIt feels like it will simmer for a long time.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenPowerful image—so much symbolism in that broken weapon and the hopeful presence of the butterfly. It speaks volumes without saying a word.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI doubt people will soon forget the "troubles". What a beautiful mural, and at least the weapon is broken, so let's hope it stays that way.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI've seen some of NI murals but not this one, it is huge. Nice header with lots of house boats on the canal.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenA nice suburban mural
BeantwoordenVerwijderenLooks amazing
BeantwoordenVerwijderenAmazing mural and a great photo! Take care, have a wonderful day!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenA complicated history there.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThat's a very nice mural, the bigger the better I think. Liking your new header too :-) Have a great week.
