In Weimar is only one house from the Bauhaus period, made in 1923 for the exhibition demanded by the state to show what kind of art was going on in the Bauhaus. It lays a bit out of the town center and you have to know the way to get there because it is a bit hidden. Called " Haus am Horn" and designed by Georg Muche. Now it is a monument (restored in 1998-1999) but we were just to late to get access to it.
The closed fence is also of a very special design. I dedicate this one to good fences here.

Be good ones for this month's city daily photo theme, too.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenEen heel bijzonder hek.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenSeems quite out of sync with the rest of Weimar as I remember it, must have been a scandalous eyesore in the mind of the locals in the 20s. But I like it.
