Mirror dance

Last week, I saw this group standing in front of City Hall, which also houses the opera house. It turned out to be a dance troupe that will be performing there next month, incorporating these mirrors into their routine, and the choreographer (the person on the left) wanted to see how they would look outdoors in Amsterdam. (Header: an atmospheric corner in our neighborhood from the day before yesterday) One for Weekend Street/Reflections here.

  3. S.C., your new header photo is captivating with much to attract our eyes. How great you could be there to photograph the mirror dance. You captured the wonderful reflections in those mirrors and the crowd gathered to watch.

    1. In my post Sexaur Seed that is an old style grain elevator from the 19th and early 20th Century. Most silos are round, but a few of these old ones exist.

  6. Those mirrors must catch Amsterdam’s shifting light beautifully, turning an ordinary street corner into part of the stage.
