There is currently an abundance of photo exhibitions in Amsterdam.


 


These photos are from the collected works of Blommers and Schumm, a pair of photographers who are working in the fashion at Foam. The same museum is also hosting a retrospective exhibition of Co Rentmeester's work. The Stedelijk Museum has a major retrospective of the work of the recently deceased Erwin Olaf, and the JHM has street photography from New York between 1936 and 1951. Except for the first one, I still have to visit them all.

  2. Always good to see what photographers are exhibiting. Most of the youth in these portraits do not look happy. Perhaps it is the times we live in now?
