Lovely street scene with few people out and about. While I like the warm tones of the older street lights, I understand the need to conserve energy. If we don't do that our planet is doomed.
Energy efficiency is a good thing and should be used more. btw liking your header image, I can see a glimpse of the lady in the corner with a cigarette hanging from her moutg.
There ARE light bulbs which are energy efficient...LED's... but with lower K ratings which give a warmer glow. So it's possible. I don't know if they are pricier. They are much more pleasant....
Sacrificing beauty for efficiency. Way to go!
