A Leopard snail. Normally only in the open when it is dark. From the drawing, this is not a normal nude snail but an omnivore that eats snails themselves in addition to everything normal snails also eat. Not unfavorable for your garden if you already have many normal snails. One for Saturday critters here.
A leopard snail, that is new to me. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWow, that snail is huge, and I've never seen one before. I see you are on its trail.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWow! At first sight I thought it was a snail that had lost its home!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenIt looks creepy to me. ;-)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenwonderful
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHe sure is interesting when seen up close. I like your new banner too. I'm trying to imagine myself there...so different from where I live. I would need someone to be the driver so I could look around!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI never seen or heard of this kind of snail. The ones I've seen are shorter and fatter. Good catch.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThanks for introducing us to this interesting creature, S. C. Aloha!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI thought it was a slug at first, but I try to keep snails out of my garden.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenNew to me too.
