I well remember a beloved cat of my Aunt Johanna who lived on an old farm. This cat was allowed to sleep anywhere in Auntie's always clean house. My mother teased her about that a little bit and she replied that this cat could sleep anywhere she liked because she had been so good at catching mice, she had earned something special! I think that cat was 19 years old then. Maybe mice are a good diet!!!
