Decided to take the cable car at the Floriade yesterday since it ends on Nov. 9
For a totally nonsensical reason, all the glasswork was taped off with a grid and only a very small strip of clear glass was left open for the photographers among us. Reason the cable car passes a highway and motorists might be startled to see people suddenly appear over their heads. Photos without that latticework anywhere in the picture are difficult to take.
Still a nice experience to go in a totally flat country by cable car some 30 m above the ground.
The view is overwhelming. Too bad the cable car ride is coming to a end.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenHow unusual to have a cable car line in flat terrain. Good you got to take a ride. I suspect the mesh on the glass it to keep the sun from heating up the car too much. I am surprised to see so many people walking on these long sidewalks in your photos.
