Found this hedge hog in an old building in the amsterdam zoo what just was reinstalled as a museum where knowledge about nature is shared. One for Saturday Critters here.
Very cute — as hedgehogs always seem to be. They were popular as pets here for a while, but I think that’s over. That species is only native to the Old World.
