Last Sunday the water in some canals in Gouda was very high again.
The difference is even less than 1 cm at some points but everything is still alright as I always go and check it out on every family visit there. Some houses have even cellars but they are of the floating species. One for Our World Tuesday here.
I would be nervous parking so close to the water.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI've often wondered how much water must intrude into those buildings.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThanks for sharing
BeantwoordenVerwijderenGorgeous captures!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenYour header shot is lovely with all the umbrellas. The slightest overflow can do some damage but when contained, water does create opportunities for pretty reflections.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenohh myh ohh myh is this how you do it in the Netherlands ;))))
BeantwoordenVerwijderenLike Andy I would not like to park there. Do many cars go in the water?
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI don't think I would park my car there.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI can see why that would be a constant worry for people who live and work in the area. Nice reflection there in the second photo also a fantastic header. At least their umbrellas are functioning right. :)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenPreciosas reflexiones, en estas bellas fotografías.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenYour canals are different from ours.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWow, that water level is high. Love the reflections in your second photo.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI would be worried if the water came over the edge but I'm guessing carparks are a rarity there?
BeantwoordenVerwijderenLiving on the edge.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenJust wonderful reflections with cars and house.
