Yesterday our flowering garden hedge was invaded by a swarm of Vanessa Atalanta butterflies. Never seen one for years and now a complete swarm at once. It is apparently a good butterfly year. I dedicate this to Saturday critters here.
There is something in the hedge that is making the butterflies happy. Let's hope that this is going to be a annual trip for them.
Hello,Wow, it must be a good year for those butterflies. They are beautiful, they do love your garden hedge. Thank you for sharing your post. Have a happy Sunday and a great new week!
A butterfly invasion sounds fantastical ... one I would certainly welcome. :)
Always good to see migrating butterflies. They are feasting on your hedge. Glad they found what they needed.
Glad you got to take photos of their visit.
That is wonderful!
Very welcome visitors.
Great new header.
I've seen that plant here, can't remember what it's called though.
