Some neighbors are already quite busy with the Christmas lights for this year. A novelty is the projection of falling snowflakes on the facade. How all this should fall in the context of the energy savings is not quite clear to me yet. One for Our World Tuesday here.
Beautifully captures=d!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenPeople have a desire to break up the Covid-19 monotony of gloomy nights with Christmas lights. People are doing it earlier and we're expecting the lights to stay up longer.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenSo beautiful
BeantwoordenVerwijderenSo many more houses have the outside of their houses festooned with lights this year. Maybe it is an antidote to living with Covid.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThe lights cheer people up a bit. I try to turn mine on a bit later in the evening and not for as long as normal.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenIt's a good thing it's only for a short time once a year s.c. 😉
BeantwoordenVerwijderenLooks lovely. I like the lit up balcony :)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThe lights lift people's spirits especially for this year.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenEveryone I know is keen to forget the nightmare of 2020 so as to enjoy Christmas. I don't suppose energy saving is high on their agenda.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenPeople love to put up lights during this increasingly dark time of year. Christmas is just around the corner.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenSome places here have already put them up.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenAnd yet not a single light for the second story. What's us with that? :-)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenMore of that than anytime before in my area as well.
