There is straightness and visual warp, which balance well. By the way, thanks to your wife for posting those nice old pictures. However, I am unable to comment on her blog or any other which has comments embedded in the main post. I researched this and found that it is a common problem. Blogs like yours have comments pop up on a separate page and these always work. I do not know why other people are able to leave comments.
