Where once cows were grazing from a milk and cheese farm now stands tulip fields on just a 4 km walk from our house.
Its a first in our part of the polder and perhaps a sign that you as farmer can earn more with tulips then with cows. Still am not sure what I like more. Cows in the meadow or tulips in the fields. One for Signs, Signs here.
That's great! The ribbons of colours the tulips create make a attractive display.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenZoveel kleur in het voorjaar is toch wel erg mooi, ondanks dat ik het beeld van een weiland met koeien ook graag zie.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHow wonderful it must be to walk through there!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThey are a delight to see!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThe tulip fields are beautiful, a pity about the cows though.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenSeeing whole fields of tulips are amazingly colorful. I have only seen this in your photos. Does the farmer make money selling cut flower tulips or selling tulip bulbs? I am not familiar with this type of agriculture.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThey make money with selling the tulip bulbs. Because of that they remove the flowers after two weeks to let all the growing power into the bulbs and not into the flowers so you see this really only for a very short time.
Verwijderen...gorgeous! your link needs to fixed.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenTulips sure do make for a spectacularly scenic countryside.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenSo lovely!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenOi... I cannot believe you have already these fantastic colorful tulip fields.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenSoon your tulips are here for buying.
Someday I would love to see those tulip fields in person. For now, I will be content with your photograph.
