In the Amsterdam Museum (former orphanage) you find this painting of three amsterdam orphans from 1885 painted by Therese Schwartze.
She was also a very good animal painter as here in the right corner.
The painting was part of an overview exhibition of the fashion designers Puck & Hans of the sixties and the seventies.
To give you an idea. This was a window piece called the last meal now on exhibition.
De kat is een prachtig detail.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThe artist certainly has talent.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenLove the cat. Looks like an interesting display!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenYou can practically hear the purr.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWhat, I wonder, would he have done with little Sofietje? :-)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenFine painting of the three young ladies and cat. It has style and dash. Not quite sure how the fashion tableau fits? We had a great time in the 1960s, but not so much in the 1970s.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenA very talented artist who did wonderful portraits. The last meal is an incredible painting with lots to look at. I like that a lot.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWonderful photos indeed. Greetings to you.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenLovely paintings, and very interesting, too.
