When I saw this unit I had to think about fellow blogger Micheal Gatton from Photographing Trivialities who had an photographic assignment from his photo club called Sign of the Times and who chose surveillance as a theme. Not so splendid composed as he always does but what the heck. In reality this is an artwork by Jelle de Graaf and hangs near a metro platform were also the real big brothers are watching.
Funny! Probably should add some bulging blood veins for realism. :-)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHow true it is.... but why do bank surveillance cameras always produce fuzzy videos of a bank robbery?
BeantwoordenVerwijderenNot only a sign of the times, but we have allowed some huge intrusions on our lives.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenLeuk idee.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI think a sharp stick is in order.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenAh, this is so cool, s.c., and a great attitude from city officials to allow it in a public space, openly mocking or at least questioning the real cameras nearby.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThat is absolutly excellent. And it could have been a participation to the weekend reflection contest, so... Great on all levels.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThe artist has a great sense of humor.
