We have been having loads of thunder storms too. There was lightning yesterday, so I didn't go to the fan mile (getting wet is ok, but being struck by lightning is not). Hope things clear up soon! I want summer back.
Rain and cobble streets are hazardous to bicyclists as shown by yesterday's stage of the Tour de France with crashes everywhere. Hope these riders faired better.
Yes... and all the British cyclists have crashed out already! I'm convinced we get the same weather as you S.C. It's the North Sea that is what we have in common.
At least the roads weren't gushing with water. That's when I find urban cycling particularly dangerous.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenSome people like you S.C. feel the rain. Others just get wet.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenSlippery streets = pending disaster
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWe have been experiencing some change in the weather as well.

Net als de foto van gisteren een mooi straatbeeld. Gelukkig zijn we hier wel wat gewend.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenNot much fun cycling in the rain. Commiserations.
