Friend of mine has a little kitchen garden not far from his home.
He also has some fresh eggs daily. For us city inhabitants its always a miracle to see where the stuff is coming from. I had such a garden also when I came to Almere because in 1980 was the habit that everybody had the possibility to rent a garden like this for say 50 dollars a year on walking distance of your home. After 10 years I quit with it because it was to much troubles then. Now the most gardens are transformed into buildings and apartments.
Glad I don't have the job of mucking out that hen house. Yuck!
