Water weekend

Its not often that it is so calm at sunset on the lake near our house as yesterday evening. A nice one for weekend reflections here. 

Earlier on we had our yearly boat race of old botters . A kind of dutch flat bottom barges from the past. 

Sorry no wind.

But for the spectators it looked like we were going back centuries in time.

    Those boat are so amazing ! The fact that their sails are black make them look like pirates, or something like that, I don't know why... Cool set of pictures.
