First we had to much cars in the city. Then bike's and now we are getting to many boats. Still no solution but yes everyone wants his possession in front of his door. Still the town was not made for it in the time it was build.

George. The boats has no assigned docking places and in reality it is forbidden for them to lay there. Once a year the government picks out boats by standards only know to them and brings them away. (I guess the boat owners know the rules). Or they are destroyed or they will be in a auction sale and along the backdoor they will be again in the canals.
I live near a quiet river... although it is suffering from boat noise much more nowadays. It seems that more people wish to have fun on the water, but wildlife suffers from the noise and pollution.
This is good for the economy... but it does look cluttered.

It does look rather crowded, although still rather attractive. It must be quite a beautiful scene when the trees are in bloom.
