Now half of England and Scotland seams to disappear in water and for a lot of people give a bad Christmas I hope the weather will soon be better as here 2 summers ago , looking at Edinburgh from Arthurs seat. An old vulcano with an height of 250 m . We were aspecting rain then but it was fabulous weather. I wish everyone still a happy Christmas and that the troubles may be over quick.
I dedicate this picture to mellow yellow monday here.
Quite a magnificent scene, both cityscape and rural at the same time. Too much rain is never a happy prospect.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenWhat a beautiful yellow carpet! Merry Xmas to you!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenNice contrast to the blue rainy night shot from yesterday - if that's still happening, I can see why you want want to "escape" to the Scottish countryside on a warm summer day. Landscape and cityscape in one view, nice.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenBeautiful view! Merry Christmas!

BeantwoordenVerwijderenMerry Christmas!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWell the rain seems to have finally stopped in UK. But the floods leave a rotten Xmas for those unlucky ones. Things always get back to normal in the good old British way, 'stiff upper lip' etc.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThanks for a year of great photos, and an insight into your country and culture. keep it up and l look forward to more next year.
Happy Christmas !
