The centre of almere city consist of a shopping mall. (I thought always that a shopping mall was inside a building complex but not in almere.) With todays weather conditions it is very uncomfortable to walk there. So the city has decided to build a roof over a part of this square. It keeps perhaps the rain out but not the wind + the extra cold that it give.
