Normally you can shoot a canon (yes artillery piece, with thanks to Revrunner) on sunday in almere's shopping centre but not yesterday. Sale,sale,sale at the end of the year.

Hai Micheal. There is a big debate in the Netherlands going about well or not open on sunday between the political parties. On one side the christian parties on the other the liberals and socialists. This year the christian parties lost the elections and are not represented in the government. That means that for the coming 4 years the cities themselves may decide if the shops are open or closed on sunday. So in the bible belt here still no change but in the big cities open the whole year round.
