  5. Yes, aother of those amazingly detailed and touching scenes from Staglione. However ...

    The stance of the man concerns me. He kneels with his left knee, yet rests his chin on his stick with his right hand paramount. He must be ambidextrous. I am right-handed. I went out and tried this. It is most uncomfortable. I choose to kneel with my right knee and have my right hand paramount. Perhaps the sculptor posed him like this for reasons to do with the quality of the stone.
