Floating Christmas Tree

 Last night a lovely Christmas dinner at our daughter's house in Weesp and afterwards went to see if they had the floating Christmas tree again this year and yes. It all looked beautiful again.

Surprise from Lyon

 

Our daughter returned from a trip to Madrid with her husband on Friday and they decided to have lunch at the Bocuse halls in Lyon on the way back (by train). There, among other things, they saw this brioche filled with delicious sausage and came to bring it over on Sunday. Yes France is No. 1 when it comes to good food.

Farewell

 Sunday Bieb and I had the sad duty to be present at the interment of my cousin in her father's grave where her brother was also interred. The time of year gave the occasion a little extra charge by al those falling leaves.

Wedding day

There were two professional photographers for the occasion and we were strictly forbidden to take photo's during the wedding ceremony not to spoil their photo's with camera's or waving mobiles. So we have to wait to see those but it was a very lovely ceremony. I couldn't resist this shot out of the balcony from our transport to bring us from the Town hall to the reception site. It stood ready in front on the wrong side of the road but if you are a London Routemaster from 1956 we turn a blind eye to it.

Here my daughter performing a tango with her husband. As you also can see on the wedding cake they met each other on a tango lesson 4 years ago and are still doing it. How romantic to meet each other during a dance. 

Mood description

Yesterday I had as proud father the task to give my daughter away to her future husband. A few days before I made this "sweet hip shot" and it describe perfect the course of the day. Sweet and also a little surprised with so many guests. Now I have to work my way through a pile of photos. Bieb has already posted two photos of yesterday.
