Today was just a bit wet.
It didn't stop me to go to Doesburg for the biggest photographical fair in the open air in the Netherlands.
A real joy again and the nicest thing. It stopped raining. From 10 AM to 1.30 PM dry.
That there is a crises in the photo industry must be clear but for the hobbyist to buy their dream camera from earlier on it is a great time. Rolliflex T for €185,-. Hasselblad 500C with planar 80mm and 120 magazine €285,-. So now and then I am photographing again with a 6x6 camera and bought for myself a nice Zenza Bronica S2a for €200,-. When the results are there I will show them.
It started raining again so we decided to go home but still a nice day.
Take some pictures of your newly acquired collectible cameras so we can see them.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenThat seems a low price for the Hasselblad 500C. A quick look on line showed the lowest price twice that. I have always admired that camera, but it was well beyond my reach. The probably made a digital back for it now.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI, for one, am usually content with a camera for several years and don't rush out for new ones each time they are on the market. It is fun to see what is available, though. I'm glad the weather cleared for you to go to the fair.
