Fantastic way to take tour.
Yikes. The whole tourist industry troubles me, but such is life! The boats are kinda nice, though, compared to comparable buses on the streets.
Met zulk een prachtig weer begrijp ik de 'traffic jam'. ;-)
Having tourists crowding the city is a mixed blessing. Fine looking tour boats showing the best aspects of the city. BOGO means, "Buy one, Get one" for free. It has become a common abbreviation in the last few years.
I'm not keen to take one of these when we visit. How much nicer to stroll beside the canals and take your wonderful tram system between points.Bt the way, feature on Amsterdam in today's New York Times. Do you agree with their suggestions? http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2016/05/12/travel/what-to-do-36-hours-in-amsterdam.html?rref=collection%2Fsectioncollection%2Ftravel&action=click&contentCollection=travel®ion=rank&module=package&version=highlights&contentPlacement=3&pgtype=sectionfront&_r=0
I wish I could be a tourist there :)
The boat has a rooftop garden. :-)
I have been a tourist there when I was a child age 7.I treasure the black and white old photo :)Stavanger is not far from Amsterdam, so KLM have good deals, so perhaps it is time to be a tourist there again.
