Dutch light.

Crisp and clear the crossing between the Marnix street and the Haarlemmer square with a typical Dutch Sky. One for Skywatch Friday here.

  1. Interesting story about SW Hettema and his oil business.

    1. You see indeed the oil shop of Hettema on this picture, but you need a more then common knowledge of the Haarlemmer square to know this. Nice hint. Thanks.

  2. "Dutch light". I thought you were going to show us a new beer at the local brew pub.

  3. Dutch lighting is like Illinois lighting lately. Gray. Gray and more Gray. It does help the photos become more dramatic. I like your street shot very much.

  7. Not only the light from the skies but also the traffic lights are interesting - very different from ours in France!
