Around 1969 you had also already reflections in the water. For me it was a tough cookie to determine this one but the railway in the background gave it away. The street on the other side of the "Weespertrekvaart" called the "Amstelhoekstraat" even as the canal and the housing along it are now long gone making place for the head quarters of Philips and some other high rise buildings. One for weekend reflections here and for now the last one of my 6x6 negatives from that period of amsterdam.
I love your old pictures! I'd like to see more.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenMagnifique endroit et bine plus en noir et blanc ;o)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI've enjoyed these retrospectives, s.c.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenIt would be fun to find that same spot to stand in and take a picture of today. I once had an old magazine about ghost towns in the desert and went out and tried to do just that with some luck.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI've loved seeing your old photos - the beginning of 1970 is when I moved to Holland, although I was very young at the time.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenoh I love the old car!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenVery special to have these photos of the past that have become history! This is an architectural style I recognize from my childhood in Holland - thank you for the memories!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenLooking forward to see one of your images for Seasons, coming Monday- Wed (March14-16, US time) - I appreciate you being a part:)
Waardevol, deze foto's van vroeger. Leuk om te zien!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI love all these 6X6 images! Better than digital, I think.
