Poem

In a neighborhood where a lot of houses are demolished and some get a renovation I saw this mural.
I try to translate it.

I love them, those places where it drafts turning a corner.
Give me the back of houses and fields where every green sprout surrounded by crooked stones
sprouting the dry earth.
The unintended made field.

Margriet Luitwieler

Never heard about her but a nice mural for monday murals here

  1. I often feel sad when something is torn down and replaced with something newer. There's something special about renovating an old place - using the old but making it better.

  2. I agree with Camera Girl. I also love to find this spontaneous poetry on walls, signs, sidewalks....

  3. Is that a pen to the right? If so, it's a nice touch.

  4. Now, this is a mural, writing that I understand. I feel his pain. Beautiful words...so expressive.

  5. Not many of us get to such a large sheet of paper to share our thoughts about the march of time. I like her words. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
