This transformer box is decorated by the nearby high school on a kind of traditional dutch way with plates as where once the delft blue plates hanged on the wall. Of course the decoration fits the new time now. One for monday murals here.
Nice way to brighten some brick walls. I like the fact that they look like the Delft plates. I've still got a Delft plate I bought as a souvenir on my first visit to Holland about 28 years ago!
For me this is different and interesting. Some of the plates are also amusing.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenA BIG transformer box calls for BIG plates!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenDid the students decorate the plates? A good project.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenNice effect for the one wrapped around the corner.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI like it a lot!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenErg origineel, en de muur fleurt er enorm van op!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenNice ide to make the transformer box more beautiful.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenSure like these--what I'd call medallions--to murals.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThat's just odd but I like it. Better than unrelieved brick.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI like how how the outside is decorated :-)

You've got to love this play on traditional Dutch crafts. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
