No trip to Copenhagen without a visit to Christiania, the free town on a former marine area.
Its free to sell cannabis and to smoke it in this part of town.
Then I saw this sign and I must admit that I can understand it. Lots of tourists coming to look what you are doing gives a bit of a hunted feeling. One for sign, signs here.
Sounds like Colorado and now a few other places here in the States..
BeantwoordenVerwijderenIt's the 1960s all over again!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenoh, good you got a snap or two before seeing this sign!

BeantwoordenVerwijderenMy state legalized cannabis a couple of years ago, and it's generated quite a stir. But on a day-to-day level it makes no difference in most peoples' lives.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenAs they say, it is easier to ask forgiveness than permission.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenVery nice photos of Kristiana, SC! I particularly liked the 2nd photo, where one guy has clogs on and the other sandals. By the way the name Kristiana is very similar to my friend's name, who is from Copenhagen :)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHave a Wonderful Day!
Peace :)
Looks like an interesting village. I guess people don't want their pictures taken in case they're smoking cannabis. Or they want to sell more postcards...
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWhat a fascinating place. The sign has a homely feel about it.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenVery famous place, all the hippies was there in time, and old hippies seems to be still there.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI'm glad you took the pictures without knowing the sign.. ..
