Always time for a nice piece of cheese from my favorite cheese merchant of the weekend market. Their newest acquisition is a pecorino cheese with truffle inside (unfortunately with matching price) or a blue basque cheese from the pyrenees. The gouda with nettle inside is not so expensive but also not so exquisite. Yes every type of cheese gets herbs inside these days but not for me. My favorite still is the 4 year old beemster cheese. Nearly to old to cut. Just have to break it in little chunks.
One for Monday Mellow Yellow here.
You made me laugh. Thank you!

I would enjoy that market and all its wares.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenLots of cheese there. Great shot.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenOrdering a piece of cheese in this shop would be a little like asking for a cup of coffee at Starbucks. :-)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenFijn om af en toe eens iets nieuws te proberen. Sommige kazen zijn echt een delicatesse.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenCHEESE!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI am a great one for tasting different cheeses. This would be paradise for me. Lovely photo.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenLooks like a fun little shop with a good selection!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenAnytime is a good time for cheese, in my books!
BeantwoordenVerwijderennice shot, s.c. - you can practically smell the cheese. I'll keep an eye out for the old beemster if any of it is exported over here..
