Kings Day

Today we have Kings Day new style. King Willem Alexander celebrates his birthday on an other way as his mother Queen Beatrix did for the first time. Instead of visiting 2 or 3 cities the whole day he just does one in 2 hours. The festivities started yesterday evening at 6 P.M with a gigantic free market over the whole country and looking at this hairdress thats still the same.
Just because it is monday I found this mural again from an exhibition a few years ago of Jean Paul Gaultier in the Kunsthal in Rotterdam were he welcomes the visitors. One for monday murals here.

  4. So the King doesn't enjoy traveling around his country all that much? Gee, he's missing out on some great bargains at the Free Market.

  6. The drawing reminds me of the simple lines that Cocteau used in his drawings. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
