Sky over a new part of town in the making. For the netherlands still a very strange sight to see houses in the middle of nowhere in a new part of Almere.
Part of a future street
and a what looks like an american barn now still in the prairie.
All for skywatch friday here.
Interesting and lovely shots.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenIt won't be nowhere for long.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThe barn is weird. :-)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenloved those clouds. I love clouds.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHow wonderful. I like discovering and visiting places like this. Just a few years ago I took my daughter to a town that was just beginning to get started, right out in the middle of a wealthy farmer's fields. She laughed at me, like really mom, you want to shop here? Now she and that little space in the field is all grown up, and she shops, eats and visits there all the time!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenIt would be interesting to see pictures taken from the same vantage points a year from now.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenSC,
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThat barn definitely looks American (the only kind I have seen).
I see a lot of value John @ Sinbad's point also.
Will one be able to commute by bicycle to this new development? I wonder...
Have a Beautiful Day!
Peace :)
To answer your question . I needed 25 min on my bike from my house to get there with nearly until the end over a special bike path throug the almere forest and I live in the oldest part of almere.
VerwijderenThe sky is so beautiful in these pics! I agree, the barn looks American.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenIk krijg soms het idee dat alles maar vol gebouwd wordt, maar gelukkig is er nog natuur genoeg.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenBeautiful skies!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenBeautiful sky shots!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenLove the barn shot!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenPeople gotta live somewhere, still something kinda sterile about these (suburban) developments
BeantwoordenVerwijderenwonder how long it takes to fill up?
BeantwoordenVerwijderenSo odd...need some trees!
