Survey

Why not making it easy while doing a survey for your study as these two students do in front of the townhall in amsterdam. Perhaps counting near misses between bikes, cars and trams as they are looking at a crossing notorious for its accidents but that is pure speculation on my side. I didn't asked.
One for our world tuesday here

  1. Everything has to be counted and catalogued. I think they were counting people with cameras. :)

  2. Difficult to climb up, but after that, this is a great place to sit and make counting.

  3. Just having a clipboard and pen makes them look "official" with what ever it is they are doing. Perhaps they were just waiting for someone to ask them what they were doing?

  4. Yep, they sure do have a spot right out in the open. I wonder how many folks stop and ask, what are you doing up there?

  5. Well if sitting on top of that was a requirement for conducting a survey, I'd have to find another job.

I too once collected data on 'Time Taken to Issue Tickets' at Railway Stations, long, long time ago.
It was an interesting experience :)
