Sand sharks

A lot of sharks are lurking just below the surface. In reality, a man made sandy area as a base for making a new highway. The shark fins are drainage pipes that the water drains which accelerated the settlement of the sand faster than normal (vertical drainage). It saves decades in construction time.

  1. Great shot! Alien landscape, interesting story, and clever pun (I assume you were referencing "land sharks" from Saturday Night Live, but I realize that may or may not be familiar with it) . Nicely done!

But first, I thought that those are the bird's tail when the bird buries head in the sand.
