Some Bauhaus art works

A cradle made by student Peter Keler around 1922.

Puppets but don't know who made them.

A 3D wood relief made by Kurt Schmidt (1923)

The tower of fire by Johannes Itten. All to find in the Bauhaus museum in Weimar.

  1. Bauhaus design is always impressive; mixing utility, engineering, modernity and style. The designs were way ahead of their time, using cutting edge tools and latest materials. Hard to believe that these items are nearly a century old. Thanks for sharing.

  2. I really like the 3 D wood relief. It's something that keeps your attention by its shape

  3. Very nice designs, although that last one looks oddly out of tune with the other pieces somehow.
