Expensive jacket

You see more and more second hand shops arise also in the more expensive parts of town. But this G1 jacket is surely past its time. Still the shop tries to make 120 euro's for it. I wish them good luck.

    1. I felt that connection also and would first name it old-crumble the other way but at last decided against it, but you are right of course. Funny how the same system can be used for different things.

  3. Back in the 1980s, I had an original jacket which was well worn but not as tatty as this one. It cost me around £10. I thought it was 'cool' at the time LOL. But somebody will eventually buy this old survivor in your great photo..... just because they have moore money than sense

  5. I imagine that a young kid with visions of heroism would buy this jacket to live some of his own fantasies.

  6. It takes a lot of years to get that distressed look which is highly fashionable these days. Just look at the jeans with holes in them that people pay big bucks for. Here in the states that jacket would sell in a pair of New York seconds.

  7. I have a jacket that is beginning to show it's wear. My wife hates it. I like it because it has become a very comfortable piece of clothing.

  8. When thrift store items become fashionable, in part because they are cheap, they stop being cheap - same with neighborhoods, anything really.
