Rainy day in Lille

In the so called Euralille area in Lille France you find this 2 bridges. One for pedestrians and one for cyclists. Some of the buildings and the urban planning is from Rem Koolhaas. A dutch architect well known for his modern buildings with his office OMA.
One for sunday bridges here.

  2. If they are half as useful as the are attractive, then they're a wonderful addition to the city.

  3. As Luis Gomez wrote, a great composition. «Louis» also likes the design of the twin bridges with the supporting arches. A fine contribution to Sunday Bridges!

  4. These are very sleek and modern. I like how they used arched to support the bridge, very clever and beautiful.

  5. A nice photo. Great perspective and symmetry. I like the space created by the architecture. There should be more space designed within urban developments.

  6. I always find it a stark contrast when you are able to get a photo with no people in it, or hardly any as in the case.

  7. You took this piece of urban architecture with a lot of art, well done.
