When I walked on the street I had a feeling that I was being watched. It took a little while until I discovered this city cowboy. Funny thing is that he is looking to you from every corner you look at him. It reminds me of a long ago lesson on the academie of architecture that when an eye is exactly on a vertical line parallel and in the middle with the sides it looks to you from all sides you are looking to it. I dedicate this one to monday murals here.
It reminds me of the actor Kirk Douglas.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenLooks lifelike and somehow familiar to me too.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI've always found that both creepy and amazing.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenVery eyecatching. I love those piercing eyes. (I'm glad you finally figured out why you felt like you were being watched.)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI enjoyed learning about why the eye seems to follow you in some art! That was fascinating! This cowboy is a wonderful depiction too.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenIt looks as if he is looking out at me from the pic! Good one.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenIt's kind of eerie to think that everyone feels he's looking right at them.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenFeels like he's stalking people.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThe thumbnail definitely looked like Kirk Douglas playing Vincent Van Gogh. Less so in the full view. Pretty impressive portrait from any angle. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
