Bicycle

I found this backside of a market stall with a bicycle manned with five apes on the side of the amsterdam town hall. On this square you find amsterdams greatest flea market. I wonder if somebody made a connection between this painting and the situation where it is placed.
One for monday murals here.

  1. Funny mural, I like it. You'll have to go back and take a picture without the car in the way.

  2. Considering what happens in town halls around the world, there definitely might be a connection. I just wish parking would not have been allowed in that spot.

    1. Normally on weekdays there is market so i took this picture on sunday. Then there are a few cars but parking is normally forbidden here. I didn't see it before because the most stalls are standing back to back so you don't see it.

  3. It reminded me of the movie Jumanji with the motorcycle riding monkeys.

  9. S.C. ! Square Columns, Greek Architecture ! Funny, you noticed; then again you are an Architect ! No one noticed it LOL ! Actually quite a few structures like that in Hong Kong with the same "Greek" theme, so to speak ! Thinking back, my first year in University was Architectural School but I failed miserably in Design class; should have stayed on to finish Architectural school but instead finished school as a Manufacturing Engineer !

  10. The thought of not being able to fulfill my dream since childhood as an Architect still haunts me now and then even at 50.
